SECURITY LEVELS

The Gang Enforcement Training Center is committed to protecting the integrity of the law enforcement sensitive information covered in the training programs we provide by issuing security levels based on a student's current employment status. We offer training courses to non-law enforcement personnel, private security, and active duty military police and criminal justice professionals.

SL 1: Civilians who are in the private sector such as those working in the school system, prevention, intervention and rehabilitation programs, counselors, etc.

SL 2: Personnel who are in the private security, executive protection and bondsmen industry, i.e., Security Officers, Executive Protection Agents, Bondsmen, etc.

SL 3: Personnel who are employed by a local, state, federal, or international government agency or U.S. Military; who are considered active duty Law Enforcement, Corrections, Probation, Juvenile Justice or Intelligence Analysts.

SL 4: Personnel who are current members of Gang Enforcement's Black Team One (BT1) . This does not include past members who no longer have an active membership call sign.
