The Experience
The National Gang Academy is for all members of the criminal justice; law enforcement, corrections, probation, and prosecution.
The NGA is an online 8-week training program for active duty criminal justice professionals that takes a blended learning approach of self-study, live interactions, recorded training modules, reading and scenario assignments, information sharing goals, expectations and opportunities, as well as professional and leadership development principles delivered through an instructor lead schedule that will help you to gain the knowledge necessary to become a gang specialist.
The National Gang Academy includes the 2-year Specialist Certification, which focuses specifically on the individual and provides documented evidence to the public, the courts and your colleagues that you have been examined by an independent professional organization and found to possess current competency in a specialized field signifying mastery and strong level of knowledge.

Do you offer payment options?
Yes. You can choose the payment plan option at checkout.
When will I get access?
Upon enrolling in an on-demand course, you will be emailed a Student Information Form. Once we confirm your information, you will be granted access to our on-demand training platform ,via email. Please allow 24 hours for your access to be approved.
Can I watch the training at my own pace?
Yes. You will have the ability to play, and pause, the course so that you can watch at your own pace. (Certifications & Academy does have some weekly structure to follow but you will still have on demand capabilities.)
How long will I have to complete the course?
After your enrollment has been approved, you will have access to the course till you complete it. (Certifications & Academy are timed and have their own access schedule)
Are the courses for law enforcement only?
Yes. We offer training for three security levels (SL1, SL2, SL3), which include active duty criminal justice professionals, private security civilians who have a direct need, due to their employment, i.e., counselors, teachers, etc.
Do you offer a group rate?
Yes. If you are enrolling 6 or more from your team? Contact Gang Command for Group Pricing.
Security Levels

Level 1
SL1: Civilians who are in the private sector such as those working in the school system, prevention, intervention and rehabilitation programs, counselors, etc.

Level 2
SL2: Personnel who are in the private security, executive protection and bondsmen industry, i.e., Security Officers, Executive Protection Agents, Bondsmen, etc.

Level 3
SL3: Personnel who are employed by a local, state, federal, or international government agency or U.S. Military; who are considered active duty Law Enforcement, Corrections, Probation, Juvenile Justice or Intelligence Analysts.

Level 4
SL4: Personnel who are current members of Gang Enforcement's Black Team One (BT1) . This does not include past members who no longer have an active membership call sign.
